Spent the morning with a friend I've not seen for most of the kids school year. Was nice to catch up and have her lil guy and mine play. You can tell the boys missed playing with each other too cause they played so well. Planning to get them together more often this spring/summer since they both are finished with their first year of preschool. Strawberry picking will be soon and we plan on taking the boys to do that together. June 10th.
Patrick got our new deck addition built and I must say it is quiet nice to sit on it with our little fire pit in the center and chill. Very nice to reconnect with relaxing some. Patrick also got the boys a nice 15 foot trampoline to play on this spring/summer. They will be moving in some shape or form.
Still trying to get my dirt so I can plant a very late garden. I haven't given up yet that I'm gonna get one. I will be pretty dissappointed if I don't get one done. What will I can this year?
Well all my boys are healthy, they are all doing well in school and the school year is almost done. Can't wait to do some summer stuff like camp and fires, fish, and just fun times with the fam. Hope all is well to anyone who might read my post.
Like I said, kinda new to postings.....feels like i'm writing a diary sort of. Later!

My Bathroom....
Well I worked all day yesterday from 12 to 8:30. Yeah me! Aaron was sick at home throwing up and producing tons of flem. His daddy watched him along with his older two brothers. Patrick said he was gonna get the second coat of paint done in the bathroom and try to get the flooring in and also the sink/vanity. I was thinking with the boys and Aaron being sick he sure is being ambicious. Well I come home last night and behold my bathroom is almost done. He got everything done he wanted to. It's looking so good. We still have to order an over the sink mirror, get all the new molding/trim for the baseboard and door frame and decorate. I need to look for a shower curtain, window curtain, rugs, towels, towel bars, and some kind of art for the wall. My husband is such a hard worker. Now if I can just get a little more organized like I use to be then we will have a good system working for us.
Aarons room still waits. He wants it blue but I just don't know how versitle blue will be for a boy that will want to change his style often. We have time to think on this one.
Bye for now....

Happy Valentine's Day!
Well today is a great day to show or say "I love you" to those you love. I believe you should do this everyday not just Valentine's Day but it is nice to show extra today. I plan to make my kids some cookies. However this may not go well cause if you know me, you'd know that I cannot bake cookies to save my life. Why I picked cookies? Well at my work they had the cutest Linzer Cookie cutter clearanced and I thought i'd give it a go for $3.99. I plan to make the heart shape scalloped edge with the heart cut out in the middle. I'm gonna put a dab of my canned red jelly in the center for the sweetness. Wish me luck. If they come out half decent I will post a picture of it. Maybe i'll even have the kids help me make them. Anyway enjoy your loved ones more today!

Letting go of things......
Well, at the age I am right now, I seem to not be able to handle all the clutter that has accumulated in my house.
We had all three boys in the master bedroom, our bedroom, my craft room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and utility/laundry room. As far as the bedrooms go we crammed all three boys belongings into one room. It wasn't easy but we did it. However, keeping the room clean was the biggest issue. Therefore when the room was too messy with all three boys toys and projects they would just not go in there and spread their "stuff" out to the living room. Clutter Clutter Clutter. More mess to walk over and more insisting from me that they clean. To solve the mess issue we have packed up all my crafting/scrapbooking collections and stored them away. Aaron is now moving into that room all by himself and the older two, Matthew and Michael now have the master bedroom all to themselves. (Haha, no more blaming Aaron for the mess in the room). I have cleaned out and sorted their dressers and closets so that all stuff that has not been worn or doesn't fit has either gone to someone else who can use it or stored for Aaron when he grows into those sizes. Now no more excuses when laundry is givin to each to be put away. They will all fit in the closet and into the dressers.
Less clutter!!
Aarons room has had the carpet ripped out and toys have been donated that he has outgrown too. We will be putting in new carpet and painting the walls to fit his bedding theme of Toy Story. I have to make 1 set of curtains to go along with the room and then to fill in his room so it is functioning for his age. Oh, the painting of the walls might be a chore because at one point Matthew was in that room (before it was my craft room) and it's theme was midevil. He had a castle design painted onto the walls and the walls were givin texture. Not something we can just paint over because you will still see the shapes of castle walls if we don't sand down the design.
Our Bathroom is in the middle of being redone also. So we have two rooms that are up in the air and a mess. We discovered back in Dec. 2010 that we had mold growth. Small leak behind our shower fixture that over time finally showed itself. Patrick has replaced the drywall with green board and fixed the leak with a new fixture and is in the process of mudding and sanding it all down so that we can paint. We have not picked out the color yet. We have however already bought the flooring and have our new vanity to put into the room. We still have to buy a matching mirror and lighting fixture plus get a new toilet and then the whole bathroom will have been redone.
Less Clutter!!!
Meanwhile waiting and working on those two major room redo's I am going through cupboards and closets and drawers trying to pack up and donate stuff I haven't used or won't use so that the house will look cleaner, cause it will be cleaner.
Less Clutter!!!!
On a last note since I have been rambling.............Patrick and I have decided that our kitchen needs some updating too. LOL. Not sure if that is something we will even bite off since we have enough to do. Spring/summer is coming which means camping and fun in the sun time. Garden time, that means canning season is coming too. Lots of work. Anyway.......have a great day and if ya have any good tips on getting ones house more organized please share.
